To fulfil your order, you must provide us with certain information (which you either authorised a stockist to provide us or sent us directly), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (for a custom order of jewellery, for example), if you contact Tideline Treasure directly.

We may process information relating to transactions, including purchases of goods and services, that you enter into with us and/or through our website. The transaction data may include your contact details, your card details and the transaction details. The transaction data may be processed for the purpose of supplying the purchased goods and services and keeping proper records of those transactions. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract between you and us and/or taking steps, at your request, to enter into such a contract and our legitimate interests, namely the proper administration of our website and business.

 

We may also process data about your use of our website and services. The usage data may include your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency and pattern of your service use. The source of the usage data is Google Analytics. This usage data may be processed for the purposes of analyzing the use of the website and services. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interests, namely monitoring and improving our website and services.

We use your information to provide the services you requested and in our legitimate interest to improve our services; and 2) compliance with Stockist Seller Policy and Terms of Use. For example, we use your information as necessary to comply with obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Information about customers is important to our business. Tideline Treasure shares your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

• Stockists, ie. Etsy, Walter & May, etc. We share information with our stockists, both online and on the high street, as necessary to provide you with our services and comply with our obligations under both the Stockist’s Seller Policy and the Stockist’s Terms of Use.

• Financial transactions: financial transactions relating to our website and services are handled by our payment services providers, Paypal. We will share transaction data with our payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds. • Service providers. Tideline Treasure engages certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services, such as delivery companies. We will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

• Business transfers. If we sell or merge Tideline Treasure, we may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

• Compliance with laws. We may collect, use, retain, and share your information only if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.

4. Data Retention
Tideline Treasure retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in our Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Account information and personal data namely email address and email address will be retained for a minimum period of 1 year following order date and for a maximum period of 3 years following order date.

5. Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU
In rare instances, we may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we have to transfer information about you outside of the EU, we rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

If a customer contacts us to access, correct or delete personal information held by a Stockist, we will contact the Stockist for assistance, or request that the customer send a request directly to them. We may disclose your enquiry data to one or more of those selected third party suppliers of goods and services purchased through our website for the purpose of enabling them to contact you so that they can fulfill your order. Each such third party will act as a data controller in relation to the enquiry data that we supply to it; and upon contacting you, each such third party will supply to you a copy of its own privacy policy, which will govern that third party's use of your personal data.
