SHIPPINg
Processing time
The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items but I aim to make and dispatch items within 7 working days.
Estimated shipping times from the UK
United Kingdom: 2-7 business days
Canada: 8-16 business days
United States: 8-16 business days
Europe: 5-10 business days
Regretably, due to changes in export rules to certain regions and countries we are currently only shipping to the UK and the USA
I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
RETURN & EXCHANGE
Returns & Exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery via the place of purchase and ship items back within: 30 days of delivery.
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
-
Custom or personalised orders
-
Items that have been worn
-
Earrings that have been worn (for health & hygiene reasons)
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
All the beach finds used within my designs are left unaltered, as found on the beach as far as possible. This means they do include natural flaws and I do not accept these as a reason for return.
Likewise, all stamped silver jewellery is unique due to being handcrafted and won't be 100% the same as another item. Each design is stamped individually so there will be variations in depth and spacing. This is part and parcel of handmade jewellery and is not classed as a fault.

as needed to provide services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
-
when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for our mailing list;
-
if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and as necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving Tideline Treasure services. We use your information to provide the services you requested and in our legitimate interest to improve our services; and 2) compliance with Stockist Seller Policy and Terms of Use. For example, we use your information as necessary to comply with obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

We will share transaction data with our payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds. You can find information about the payment services providers' privacy policies and practices at www.paypal.com.

4. Data Retention
Tideline Treasure retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in our Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Account information and personal data namely email address and email address will be retained for a minimum period of 1 year following order date and for a maximum period of 3 years following order date.
5. Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU
In rare instances, we may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we have to transfer information about you outside of the EU, we rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.
6. Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
-
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

We may disclose your enquiry data to one or more of those selected third party suppliers of goods and services purchased through our website for the purpose of enabling them to contact you so that they can fulfill your order. Each such third party will act as a data controller in relation to the enquiry data that we supply to it; and upon contacting you, each such third party will supply to you a copy of its own privacy policy, which will govern that third party's use of your personal data.

PRODUCT CARE
Sea glass and pottery is often sturdy after being in the sea for a long time before it arrived on our beaches all polished and smooth. However, it is still important to remember that both glass and pottery are delicate materials and can break if not treated with care.
Sterling silver will naturally tarnish over time. To clean your jewellery, wash with lukewarm water and dry thoroughly using a polishing cloth. If you want your glass to pop a bit more after cleaning, add a drop of natural oil and rub with a rough cloth or towel to remove any excess.
Sterling silver can tarnish faster when exposed to harsh chemicals such as bleach, chlorine, salt, sulphur and acidic agents. Therefore we recommend removing jewellery before bathing and swimming, cleaning and during sporting activities.
We recommend storing your items in a lined jewellery box away from UV light, chemicals and not in your bathroom.
