What's On My Tideline - Introduction

Hello, my name is Penny and I am Tideline Treasure

I am so lucky to spend a lot of time on the beach searching the tideline as part of my business

There are so many things washed up on our shores, some natural you expect to see, others that definitely aren't and some real surprises

It's definitely my happy place and if the people I meet along the way are anything to go by it's yours too so I am going to share some of the things I find in a monthly blog on my website:

I apologise in advance for not knowing the technical terms or official names of some of the items but I hope you will find them interesting

Because I get so much from being on the beach and by the sea I wanted to help preserve its special qualities by joining the Looe Marine Conservation Group

I was worried about not being knowledgeable enough about the subject but these local groups desperately need feet on the ground helping with things like beach cleans, rock pool rambles, manning stalls and even making teas and coffees at events, all of which I can do

You can too, please look up your local groups, they need your help or just remember to pick up a few pieces of litter each time you are on the beach, we can all make a difference
